I last ran the Cardiff Half in 2013 fundraising for Llamau and vowed it would be my last! But I celebrated my 60th birthday this year so having been injured for the event in March I have now signed up to run in the October half marathon to raise funds for a fantastic charity where I have been a Trustee for many years. This will be my last half marathon! The race is on October  2nd 2016 @10am in Cardiff City Centre -  volunteers are still wanted to help out on the day.

Llamau supports homeless young people and vulnerable women who haven't had the support and opportunities that I & my sons (Owen & Rhys) have had in life. The charity achieve amazing results and I am very proud to be associated with them. They believe everyone should have the right to fulfil their potential and what I love about them is that they never give up on anyone! 

My friends and family will either be running too or volunteering at the event to give their support. I would appreciate a £1 or 2 in lieu of my efforts - to help Llamau carry on their amazing work.
