It was a lively evening in the V Bar, drinks were aplenty,
people were relaxing and the Vodafone Foundation presentation hosted with Threshold Sports had begun.

Threshold Sports gave a wonderful presentation on Race to
the King and how much fun it would be!! Feeling enthused, combined with Dutch courage, Suzanne, Hannah and I raised our hands (one went up for Denise in her absence) to commit ourselves to Race to the King. We can do this we all said! Feeling even more fearless, we decided to go all out and opt for the 52 mile non-stop ultra marathon (walking). Call us crazy or in the midst of a mid-life crisis (Hannah excluded), we each are determined to complete this mammoth challenge and help contribute to raise £1 million for displaced girls education.
