2016 marks to 110th anniversary of the foundation of Hugh J Boswell Insurance Brokers and during this year every member of staff has been challenged to raise at least £110 for charity.

I thought long and hard about what to do. I'm always up for a physical challenge but wanted to do something relevant to the task, but something arduous too. As the business is represented in the counties of Norfolk and Suffolk I figured I'd cycle the boundaries of both counties - throw my bike wheels around them both in a virtual cycle hug, if you like! 

So, on 21st and 22nd July I will set off from North Suffolk with Mark Adcock, one of my best buddies, and we will cycle the 300 miles back to the start point in just 2 days. 

We're raising money for Age UK Norfolk as they do outstanding work to support the elderly in and around the communities where I live and work. The charity relies solely on the generosity of the public and voluntary donations are vital to enable them to deliver their services. This is my small way of helping them achieve their aims.
