Hussein is a young lad from Kibera slums. He's doing well in form 3 at secondary school but hearing loss resulting from a perforated eardrum is holding him back. With his hearing impaired, Hussein finds daily life a challenge.

 

A simple operation will patch the eardrum and give Hussein his hearing back. However, coming from the slums, the cost of the operation is well beyond his and his foster-family's reach. With your help, we can give Hussein the chance to hear the world again.
