Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Those of you who know me, know that I co-founded Nile Swimmers in 2007.  This organisation has grown over the years, and is now one of the most highly respected drowning prevention organisations working in Africa.

You can help us to provide water safety education to the most vulnerable communities, including refugee children.  The volunteer team that we have in Sudan are incredible, and the volunteer team that we have in the UK are awesome.  However, we need your donations to help grow our organisation - to increase the work that we're doing.

We now have technical agreements with three different Ministries in Sudan.  We are technical partners with UNICEF, and we are really good at what we do.  You can help us do more, by donating to our cause.

In case you don't know - Adventure racing is just ridiculous.  It's the toughest thing I've ever done.  We're racing over 500km over 5 days around Ireland - trekking, biking, kayaking, and whatever else the race director has in store for us. Get a hint of it here - http://www.itera.ie

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Drowning kills over 400,000 people every year. Nile Swimmers works to reduce deaths from drowning in Africa. We do this by providing training to local people, conducting research, building partnerships, and providing a perspective from low-income countries.
