The British Museum has always been for everyone, with a collection from across the world, for use by citizens of the world. As dedicated supporters of the Museum, we are asking our Members to sustain a project which embodies this ambitious mission.

Since 2006, the International Training Programme (ITP) has seen the corridors and storerooms of the Museum resonate with specialists from the far corners of the globe discussing museums and wider issues of culture. Our rich collection, and the specialist staff who work on it, represent a wonderful resource that is used to inspire and inform the curators and conservators of the future.

Free places for delegates from partner museums have been offered for the last eight years due to charitable support but there is much more that can be done. Your contribution will help us to expand the scale of the training and bring even more participants together, ensuring a bright future for museums across the globe.
