Story
After a 50 days of Israeli bombardment, the people of Gaza are desperately short of food, water, shelter, etc. But according to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), one of the biggest issues is the shortage of milk for babies and young children. This is echoed by one of our partners aid workers in Gaza who told us: “We have at least 300 new babies turning up every day at UNRWA schools. In total, about 8,000 babies and young children need milk. In many cases, babies will die due to lack of milk.”
We are looking for 1,000 donors to help us provide 1,000 milk packs for babies and young children in Gaza. Just £100 provides 10 children with enough milk for a week.
