The inspiration is my amazing son Olly who was born in February 2013.

Olly has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy and has various related medical conditions. He is fiercely determined, tries to copy everything his sister does(!), and brings joy to everyone he meets. 

Olly requires constant care, physiotherapy and speech and language therapy. He attends the White Lodge Centre in Chertsey for his various therapies. He has benefitted hugely from the support provided, and keeps asking when he can "do swimming" again in his hydrotherapy sessions and see "Blue" the pony he goes riding with as part of his therapy programme. 

During this time we have been helped enormously by the White Lodge Centre in Chertsey. Some great therapists from the White Lodge Centre have really supported Olly as he does his best to overcome his various difficulties.  

This is why, despite enjoying the armchair versions better, I have entered both the London Marathon in April 2016 and also the Ride-London 100 cycling event in July 2016 for the charity. This is my fundraising page.
