On 5th and 6th July I will be cycling solo from Morecambe to Scarborough - "Coast to Coast".  A 162 mile journey starting on the Lancashire coast and ending on the Yorkshire coast with over 11000ft of climbing inbetween.

Warrington Animal Welfare is a charity close to my heart.  They do a fantastic job rescuing & rehoming many pets that have been abandoned as well as promoting good pet ownership and neuteuring.. WAW will always do whatever they can to help abandoned or injured pets. Just one example is Hector a 13 year old cat, who WAW found abandoned and in need of an operation to remove a tumour on his neck.  WAW nursed Hector back to good health and he now has a good home and  isenjoying life again! This isn't a one-off case, WAW do this all the time but rely totally on public donations and volunteers.  This is why WAW are my chosen charity for my 162 mile bike ride from Morecambe to Scarborough.
