Story

I have been Professor of Clinical Trials in Swansea University College of Medicine since 2008; I also served as College Director of Research from 2010 till 2013.  To thank colleagues for 6 wonderful years in Swansea, I warmly invite them and their families to attend my Retirement Buffet and Ceilidh on Saturday 21 March 2015.  Professor Julian Hopkin, the Chairman of Trustees of St David’s Medical Foundation, will act as host.  The renowned Phoenix Dance Band from Stroud in Gloucestershire (www.phoenixdanceband.co.uk) will provide the music.  As the Hub has limited capacity, please let Claire Evans (claire.evans@swansea.ac.uk) know whether you can come and, if so, how many you will bring.

As I shall receive a wonderful retirement present from the Universities Superannuation Scheme, I should be most grateful if any other retirement presents could take the form of donations to St David’s Medical Foundation, the College’s own charity for medical research.  Please enable us to reclaim tax you have already paid by using this Just Giving page of Ian’s.  Donating through Just Giving is simple, fast and totally secure.  Your details are safe with Just Giving: they never pass them on or send unwanted emails.  Once you donate, they send your money directly to the charity.  So it is the most efficient way to donate, saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.
