Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Wednesday 22nd June I will be taking to the course at Royal Ascot Golf Club to take on the challenge of playing One Hundred Holes of Golf in just One day. It will be a long day with an early start but I am aiming to raise £10,000 for Step by Step so well worth it.
So, what's involved? An early start at 4am, a walk of some 26 miles with no caddy, buggy or trolley, hopefully no more than 450 shots will be taken.
A team of volunteers from Royal Ascot Golf Club will be on hand to help with ball spotting, handing out refreshments and more as I take on the challenge. I will be playing off the Yellow Tee's of the day, aiming to complete the first 91 holes by about 4pm.
The final 9 holes will be played during the regular Wednesday night 'Supper Club' competition, this will conclude at around 8pm.
So, a long day, a big challenge and all to raise much needed funds for Step by Step.
No time to recover the next day, I've a Board meeting.
