Story
Tragically, on Sunday 15th November, our loving Dad and husband was taken from us, aged 52. Whilst out on his weekly Sunday morning run on Wimbledon Common with his wife and Windmiler friends, dad collapsed and was unable to be saved.
Dad spent his life in Wimbledon working endlessly for his family and loved the simple things in life such as the football, the cricket, the radio. He was an avid Kettering Town supporter and a founding member of the AFC Wimbledon Dons Trust.
Our dad was an alumnas of the London School of Economics, having been one of the first in his family in Kettering to go to University and achieve a 2:1 degree in analytical economics. Since then, he has always supported local education through being a Holy Trinity school governor and devoted many hours to Wilson's School and Sutton High. He was a distinguished ACCA panel member and a qualified accountant for 30 years and worked as well as a non executive director for the family company Care Associates.
We are supporting Family Action educational grants programme; any donations made in memory of our dad will go towards helping students over the age of 14 to unlock their educational potential by participating in further education.
