I will be climbing up to the peak of Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales in aid of The Ribat Institute's 'Ribat House' appeal. That's a whopping 3,560 feet climb covering a distance of 9 miles!! 

The Ribat Institute is already doing some great community work including (but not limited to); free gardening service to the elderly, food parcels for the homeless, orphan sponsorship schemes (in association with Ihsan Foundation) and youth activity groups. In order to continue this fantastic work the Ribat Institute is looking to acquire its own premises.

The Institute intend to purchase a property in Woking, Surrey as a multi-use property which will serve as a base for their many projects; such as adult and children's classes, counselling services, research and training, as well as to generate an income to aid further projects. The building will open up opportunities for multiple uses by the Institute and as a facility for other groups and organisations to hire.

Ribat also plans to run a children’s nursery and a gymnasium on-site. The nursery will offer parents and carers the opportunity to give their children the best possible start in life by offering an approach which, hopefully, will nurture good manners and praiseworthy characteristics from an early age. The gymnasium will be fully accessible to all people of various age groups.
