We invest in girls to give them a future to reunite & empower girls through eduction
Story
A friend and I are going to Sri Lanka on 31st October to volunteer in an orphanage for young girls who need a loving family-unit environment to support them. The 2004 Tsunami left thousands of children homeless and parentless. By supporting us and donating through our Just Giving pages you will be giving these young girls an opportunity to live in a place where they can thrive and be treated like an individual. The home provides a safe and loving environment for orphaned and abandoned girls and aims to empower them to strive for a more equable future. Please share this and spread the word so we can get as many people as possible to learn about this amazing fund! Thank you so much!!
The Rosie May Home is a unique and exciting concept where sisters are re-united and live together again as a family unit. Sri Lankan live-in house parent’s care for the 20 children aged 3 to 18 years. The ethos of the Rosie May Home is to create a loving family home where each child is recognised and nurtured as an individual. The children living in the home have been orphaned, abandoned or made homeless due to the Tsunami and poverty.
