We provide vital nutritional support to people living with HIV in London

Story

So in my strange frame of mind, I have decided to take part in the London to Brighton ride to raise funds for my charity The Food Chain. Those of you who know me, know that I can run like the wind, swim like a dolphin and ride like a FISH.....please take the time to read my story and if you can, please make a donation,

Your donation will help to change and save lives. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers a donation to The Food Chain will go a long way:

£4.00 will pay for all the ingredients in two tailored meals delivered on a Sunday.

£36 will buy enough groceries for a week for someone who is unable to shop or can't afford to eat the appropriate food necessary to live well.

£80 can pay for a nutritionist to facilitate an Eating Positively class, supporting a dozen people living with HIV to learn how to use nutrition to better manage their condition.

I would also like to fundraise in memory of my friend, René Fransman who died of cancer on May 15th. René began volunteering for The Food Chain 23 years ago and although ill himself, was a regular Lead Cook for the Kentish Town kitchen. He was truly an inspriation and one of the main reason I volunteer for the Food Chain.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
