Andy's Brother Nobby died on 21st October 2012 after a short battle against Acute Myeloid Leukaemia - Blood Cancer and Andy's Mother Anita died on 4th April 2014 after battling Breast, Bone and Lung Cancer. Both had a Very difficult hard fight with Cancer. Their passing is something Andy finds very difficult to come to terms with but he promised them both in their last few days that he would raise as much money as he could for their chosen charity BRIGHT RED Blood Cancer Charity so that we can help in the fight to beat all Blood Cancers and to also help provide support to so many other people fighting Cancer. Andy and Duncan want to raise as much as they can to help research into Beating Cancer and to also help save  the lives of so many others. They dont want anyone else to go through the pain of losing loved ones to Cancer as it really does destroy so many families, so let's stick together and one day 'We Will Beat Cancer'. The challenge is. 'A Year on the Wagon' - Andy and Duncan are both going to give up the booze, all alcohol and not have one drop and get on the wagon FOR ONE WHOLE YEAR in aid of Cancer Research for  Andy's brothers charity 'Bright Red Blood Cancer Charity'. Andy will start on the stroke of midnight 1st January 2015 and I will not touch a drop until after the stroke of midnight 1st January 2016. Duncan will take over the Baton and start on the 1st January 2016 and will not touch a drop until after the stroke of midnight 1st January 2017.  Andy and Duncan know this will be a Very Difficult, Immense Challenge as Both like nothing better than to have a tipple of a Fine Wine or a pint of the finest beers. They need your support to do this and would like you to consider donating regularly to keep them going throughout the whole of 2015 and 2016. Maybe the price of a pint of beer or a glass of wine a week, a bottle of wine a month or a bottle of champagne a year. So when your having a drink at home or when out and about maybe miss just one drink and donate the money instead for Cancer Research as every penny donated will help in the fight against Cancer and will help to save the lives of so many others.
