Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Please sponsor me in my cycle run from Barra to the Butt of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. Starting on 27th October, I plan to cycle unaided 200 miles through the islands of Barra, Eriskay,South Uist, Benbecula, North Uist, Berneray, Harris and Lewis in what may not be ideal weather conditions (gale force winds here on Skye earlier today).

In April this year my nephew, while serving as a Royal Marine in Afghanistan, stepped on a mine which severely damaged his foot. He has received the best of care, but his injury is still likelyto affect him for the rest of his life. However, he is very much aware that compared with many other casualties, his injury is less disabling than it might have been. Please sponsor me. All expenses will be met by myself.
