The Task:
Each team must purchase a vehicle to take part in the event and must spend a maximum of £500. This is not a “gumball” style event where supercars will be the focus of attention but an event of imagination… the teams must dress and decorate the vehicles to create a theme, and the team members must take part wearing fancy dress outfits on each of the days. The fancy dress theme of each day is set out by the organisers of the rally and points awarded for the best efforts made. Additional challenges will be set during each day of the event in which the teams will gain further points. This is not a race…. Racing during the event is strictly forbidden and will result in exclusion from the rally. Gaining challenge points are the aim of the rally

The Route:
The rally will officially start in Namur, Belgium. It will travel south via
many will know towns and cities, through several countries, and finish in Nice, South of France. Whilst the overall official distance of the rally is 1224 Km…the added dimension for our particular team is that we must first drive from Dundee to the start line which will give us a total distance of 2371 Km !!!

Our outline route would be:

Dundee – Glasgow - Carlisle – Birmingham – London – Dover – Calais– Dunkerque – Lille – Namur – Luxembourg – Metz – Strasbourg – Freiburg Im Breisgau – Basel – Luzern – Bellinzona – Lugano – Menaggio – Milano – Med Coast – Savona – Imperia – Menton – Monaco – Nice. A grand total of 2371Km. !!!!

The main focus of this event is to raise as much money as possible for the charity.
