'ROHHAD is a very rare life threatening and life
limiting disease that affects less than 100 children worldwide.  It is a
very complex cruel disease that sadly means the children are unlikely to reach
adulthood.  Children are born healthy and appear normal until their
toddler years when symptoms begin. 

ROHHAD is a devastating diagnosis for any child to
receive and often is given after years of decline in their health; due to lack
of research and understanding of the condition. 

There is currently no ongoing research into ROHHAD
in the UK due to lack of government funding and the children being extremely
rare. However there are Doctors in London and in Glasgow who are willing to do
research and are already planning for it in the hope that the ROHHAD
Association will raise the funds needed. 

Research into ROHHAD is imperative to help improve
the quality of life for the victims and may eventually lead to a cure.  

Every child with ROHHAD has hopes and dreams, Aaron
Hunter aged 6 dreams of becoming an Avenger and saving the world. He also wants
to be a policeman or work with his Dad !  Sadly those dreams won't become
a reality as he is unlikely to reach adulthood.  YOU can make a difference
