Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising money for an arts project for Harrogate Homeless Hostel. I, along with 4 others, have set this project up to create art workshops for homeless people. The project will run at Springboard Day Centre and will provide a safe and friendly place for people to drop in and get creative. Homeless people are often isolated from society, and can go for days without speaking to another person, so projects like this are essential. This project is being entirely self funded and so the tea challenge is just the start of many fundraising events.

Those who know me, will know how much I love a good cuppa and so will appreciate what a challenge giving up tea will be! I will be staying off the brown stuff (and all fruit/ herbal teas) until May 15th so please dig deep and help out a brilliant cause!

The Harrogate Homeless Project is Harrogate district's only direct access hostel, providing emergency accommodation and support for homeless people. Only 65% of our running costs are met through statutory funding and other grants, so we constantly need to raise money in order to continue.
