I am running for Buttle UK, who last year helped 27,929 children in need by providing just under £4 million worth of small grants for children living in crisis. 

Many of the things we take for granted, like a bed to sleep in or a hot meal when we get home, thousands of children could only dream of. 

These simple things are what Buttle UK helps with by providing funding when it is needed most. 

- £150 can buy a child a bed and bedding, so they no longer have to sleep on the floor and can concentrate in school the next day. 
- £200 can buy an oven or a fridge freezer so the child can eat properly.
- £300 can pay for classes for after school activities, or therapy, so that the child is able to express themselves and learn to process their emotions.
- £500 can go towards paying for a child to go to boarding school if their parents are unable to look after them, meaning they do not have to be placed in state care and receive personal and fulfilling education.

Buttle UK understands the importance of education in alleviating poverty and so all of the grants provided contribute directly to supporting the child's access to a full mental, emotional and practical education.
