Africa Angels is a charity which aims to put an end to poverty, across Africa. So far the amazing Elena (founder) has built a school in The Gambia and she is now planning to build another school! Next year a group of us will be going out to Africa to get involved! We will be visiting the africans in their homes to get to know them and how they live. We will also spend time at the school with the children and run a few activities with them. We will also be visiting different communities and deciding what community needs the school and plan what it will look like.

• It costs about £200-£250 per month to make the school meals for 100 children!

• You can support a child to stay in school for £20 a month!

• To build a two classroom school for 100 children it costs £16000 and therefore collectively 16 people raising £1000 each will be building a school. Elena is looking for volunteers to be a part of this amazing charities journey and to help raise enough money so the new school can be built. 

• The £1000 can either be a sponsorship or raised by fundraising methods. I am doing a mixture of both :) However I must clarify that the £1000 is not for travel, accommodation, vaccinations, etc. Which means that every penny donated goes to the charity and a great cause!

• The money you give can either be to support me or the school in general. 

• Everyone involved will have their name put on the wall on the inside of the entrance hall to mark their achievement!
