Story

This page has been set up in memory of Jake Douglas.

Sadly, Jake passed away on the 29th April 2013, following a motorbike accident between Cheddar and Wedmore.

Bikes were Jake's life - he was a qualified motorcycle mechanic and was due to start studying at Swansea Metropolitan University in September for a degree in Motorcycle Engineering.

Jake's funeral will be held at 3pm on the 10th May 2013 at Weston Crematorium. We would like a bike procession to accompany him on his last ride, meeting at Scallys in Weston at 2.30pm, leaving for 2.35pm. We'll pass the Pier, taking Kewstoke Road to the Crematorium.

We would love as many people as possible to join in, whether you have a scooter, race bike or trike!

There will be a wake afterwards at the Riverside Inn, Cheddar.

Everyone is more than welcome to attend, whether for the ride, funeral, wake, or all three. Further details on times and exact routes will follow.

Wear whatever you like, bright or dark, dressy or casual.

Instead of flowers, we would like donations to go to Freewheelers EVS (Blood Bikes) or the NABD.

Freewheelers can be donated to on this page, and the NABD can be donated to here: http://www.thenabd.co.uk/donate.htm
