Just a short note to thank all the friends and family that have donated to Iain & my page. 
We are pleased to report that we successfully managed to drive the route from John O'Groats - Lands End in 25 hours of driving over two days.

Apart from getting lost in Wales and in Cornwall, probably the trickiest drive was from Penrith - Bowness on Windermere over the Kirkstone Pass at about 8.30 pm on day one.

The mini hardly missed a beat on route thanks to the time that Iain had spent in preparing the engine during the two weeks or so prior to the rally.

The monies so generously donated will be used by the Lighthouse Club Benevolent Fund to help people and families in our industry a lot less fortunate than ourselves.
