Thurs August 2nd The Dynamic Duo - Amanda Rendall and I, will set off from John O'Groats, Scotland and 8 days later Thurs 9th arrive at Lands End, Cornwall...a distance of circa 900 miles having only covered the distance using run and cycle power.

Oh...and Amanda and I are doing it as the charity mascot Mr Nearnakedman (in picture) to symbolise the charities fight for men not to be embarrassed!!! Should raise a few looks!!

We will approx  on each day, run just over a Half Marathon (13mile) and cycle about 100mile.

By the end we will have in total (approx) run 100 mile and cycled 800 miles in 8 days.

We're doing it in Jubilee Year, Olympic fortnight so the whole country will be feeling proud and sporty - so sponsor us Muppets embarking on this crazy journey!

I chose Male Cancer Awareness as I had a scare with testicular about 6 years ago and was scared, didn't want to admit it, didn't want to talk to anyone - and that awareness and acceptance that it's "OK" to talk about is what makes this charities work so damn good!

Please give and whilst this will stretch us, hurt us, test us mentally and physically more than any other challenge - that will fade but victims won't be so lucky - so please give generously
