Story
Thanks for taking the time to read this. I hope you'll also be able to donate something to this excellent cause. The Lifeboat Fund is a Civil Service charity which raises funds for the RNLI. In its 150th year, we are raising funds to buy a new Shannon lifeboat for the RNLI station in Wells-next-the-Sea. See www.thelifeboatfund.org.uk for more details.
So - I am joining the RNLI's H2Only challenge. From 13-23 September, that means drinking just water. No coffee, tea, juice, beer, wine or anything else more interesting than water. Hmm. For those I work with or live with (or both..), forgive greater grumpiness. For extended family going to Aberaeron on 24 September, I am looking forward to it even more.
Aberaeron was the scene of one of the many amazing rescues in the recent BBC series on the RNLI. The RNLI do amazing things, 24/7/365, right around the coast, and on the Thames. They are not part of Government. They are a charity, relying heavily on volunteers. Please donate if you can.
