Story
Two colleagues from Birmingham accountancy practice JW Hinks LLP are to take the plunge and skydive from 15,000 ft for the firm’s chosen charity of the year St Basils.
Tayyaba Fatima and Trevor Fleming from the firm based in Edgbaston hope to raise £1,500 by taking part in a charity sky dive on 1 May 2016.
On the day the duo will take off from Brackley in Northamptonshire and hurtle towards the ground to raise money for St Basils, which helps young homeless people in the West Midlands.
Neal Aston, Managing Partner at JW Hinks, said: “Tayyaba and Trevor are doing something immensely brave for our chosen charity and whilst we think they are crazy for doing it, we are still extremely proud.
“St Basils is a wonderful charity which does amazing things for Birmingham’s vulnerable young homeless community. We hope to raise as much money as possible for them through this death-defying event.”
JW Hinks has already held a number of events in aid of their chosen charity and both the male and female teams of runners from the practice not only managed to raise more than £1,500 in the Morrisons Great Birmingham Run, but also recorded the fastest times in the small business category”
