My name is Jack Butt and I am 12yrs old.

In June 2012 my life changed forever.

I woke up one day with double vision totally out of the blue and just thought I was tired. Mum said see how you are tonight.

The next day I still had double vision so after seeing my doctor it was arranged that I went to see the eye clinic at Doncaster. After various tests they sent me for a MRI and then discovered that I had a large brain tumour that needed immediate surgery... My parents and I were devastated

After a long 15hr operation I had complications with my breathing so had to go to intensive care to be ventilated . for three weeks I could not do a lot and I was very poorly.

It was decided for me to have a tracheostomy opertion to help me breath.

After 4 and a half months I am slowly getting my strength back and I am walking better and have had the tracheostomy reversed. My speech is still not right and I have to get strength back in my left side but I am determined to get back to school and get back to playing football.

I am also going to raise as much money as I can for Sheffield Childrens Hospital because I met a lot of angels there thatsaved my life. Please donate what you can. Thanks Jack :)
