My best friend Zoe's dad has had Frontotemporal Dementia for a few years now, and the lovely man who I once knew to be silly and full of life has been robbed of his personality, and left totally dependent for everything on his family. Dave was always the joker, making people laugh, worked super hard and loved his family with all his might. The effects of the disease have taken their toll on him, and those around him, and I'd like to raise money to help in any way I can for Zoe and her family, and others going through the same heart-wrenching process. 

For those of you who know someone who has suffered, and those of you who are fortunate not to have had to cope with it, I'd really appreciate if you could sponsor me, so that all the money raised can go towards helping people like Dave living with the crippling effects of this life-stealing disease. It's been a while since I went running, so I am expecting this to be quite demanding... but it's all worth it for Dave.
