This march  I will be spending 6 weeks in Ghana with a charity called Lively Minds. They are a small charity but are making a huge difference to the lives of thousands of poverty-stricken children and their families. I'm going to be working with Lively Minds local staff, visiting rural villages and teaching mothers to run educational Play Schemes for all the 3-6 year old children in the village . The children in these villages children just don't have any of the opportunities that we do here. So these simple Play Schemes make a huge difference - educating children at an early age when this early kind of education can make so much difference to their future development. The mothers I will be working with have never been to school, so I’m hoping to make a huge difference to their lives too. Any support you give me will be making a huge difference, not just for the children I will meet on my trip, but for those who continue to benefit from the Play Schemes for many more for years to come.
