Precisely two months from now i, along with 15 other Boys' Brigade seniors, will be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the worlds Longest Game of Five-a-Side Football. This is a 60 hour attemp, being held on the 11th-14th September 2014.

The record attempt itself is a Boys' Brigade event but, given the difficulty of the challenge, i have decided to try and raise some money whilst promoting the fantastic work of the Ardgowan Hospice.

In November, last year, my grandfather very sadly passed away due to a form of Cancer. However, with the help of the staff at Ardgowan Hospice, his last few remaining days were made as comfortable as possible. The dedication and care that the staff at Ardgowan Hospice provide is second to none.

Did you know that it costs the Hospice £8,000 to keep the doors open for just one day and £56,000 to fund the average running costs for ONE week? These figures are phenomenally high, but every single penny helps. This is fantastic way of giving back to this Wonderful service.
