Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
A friend of mine, Maxine, sadly died in a car accident on 3rd May 2014. She had a passion for both running and youth work and it was through volunteering, along with her husband Ian and children Daisy and Joshua, on Scripture Union summer camps that many of us became friends with Maxine. As I had previously registered to run in the Royal Berkshire 10k, it seems very fitting to run in her memory and to raise money for the charity that we both had a link to.
I am aiming to run the 10k in under 45 minutes on Sunday 18th May, so really hope you can donate to this worthy cause and spur me on to finish the course within my target time in memory of Maxine.
