From June 13th -17th I will be hitting the road along with Ronde who are fully supporting this Epic Ride. I am also raising money for a great Scottish charity - The Polar Academy.
Please visit http://thepolaracademy.org/ to find out exactly what these brilliant people do.
They "unlock the vast potential within the ‘invisible and forgotten’ young adults in our education system and turn them into positive role models for their community and families. Each year the Polar Academy will inspire and motivate thousands of young adults, positively demonstrating that by “inspiration through exploration” anybody can achieve their absolute potential." How good is that? However, they need money, I'm quite prepared to put the hard work in, if you please put your hand in your pocket and spare a few quid?
If you're not familiar with the North Coast 500 route there is a map. Please visit http://www.northcoast500.com/interactive-map.aspx
The NC500 was really put on the map last autumn when Mark Beaumont's video of his 37 hour circumnavigation of the route.

The schedule to ride the NC500 is less grueling than Mark's but pretty challenging nonetheless.
Running over 5 days with between 85 miles and 120 miles per day, with 6 nights dinner, bed & breakfast (12 to 17 June) The ride will be fully supported with scheduled stops every 25 miles, luggage transfers and a broom wagon operating.
