A very, very special friend has now started chemotherapy treatment. So, I have told myself that my hair goes too in act of solidarity.

So "hairless4hope" was conceived  to make an event of this and benefit a worthwhile cause...

I have already achieved my first goal; to let my dear friend Frankie know that she is not on her own through these difficult times.

For my second goal, I need your help. We can raise money to help a fantastic charity, so that many others going through a difficult time can know that they too are not alone.

I believe there is enormous synergy between who Frankie is, I am and those that Hope Support Services is set up to assist. Hope supports young people when a close family member is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, like cancer.

Thanks for getting me one step closer to being a baldie! This will be a novel experience for me and I am not sure at all that I will like it...
