Story

I am taking part in the London marathon on the 24th of April to raise money for the University of Bristol Cancer Research Fund.

Cancer can effect us at any age and this has been seen in my family. My Grandad died of lung cancer before I was born, my grandmother overcame breast cancer and my cousin was diagnosed with cancer at the age of just 19. It therefore is an amazing opportunity to raise money directly for the researches looking for new treatments.

The cancer research fund awards grants to young cancer researchers based at the University. These grants are awarded to some of the brightest young cancer research “stars” in the country and will help them do more, faster, in the search for new cancer treatments.

If you would like to follow my progress as I train for the marathon please like my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/James-London-Marathon-191926171157764/info/?tab=page_info§ion=web_address&view
