Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you know my life was turned upside down in May last year when I was diagnosed with a Ewing's Sarcoma which left me paralysed from the chest down. It's been a long journey through 10 months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy but thanks to some amazing people I'm getting through it.
Along the way I've met a lot of great people who have helped me, one of whom has managed to convince me that being pushed up and down Mount Snowdon in my wheelchair is a good idea and a challenge for me - so thanks to Tamsin (my inspirational occupational therapist from Kings) I have accepted the challenge. She introduced me to The Back Up Trust which provides support, learning and development for people with spinal chord injuries and I am sure I will be tapping into their many services over the coming weeks and months.
It would be great if you could sponsor my team - 15 of my closest friends and family - Bruce (Dad), Tamsin Rees-Jones, Emily Frost, Harry Lade, Liviu Fudulu, Clare and Jonny Midgley, David Richards, Richard, Callum and Nathan Barclay, Kate and Rupert Dobson, Rob Fitzgerald and Daisie Johnson - have risen to the challenge of pushing me up the 5 mile track to the top of Snowdon (and back down again,) on Saturday 2nd July 2016. With the added challenge of two nights camping!
