Story
Jambo!!
In 2010 I travelled to Africa with the Kenyan Orphan Project (KOP) and this coming summer i'm going back!! My experience in Kenya the first time round opened my eyes to the world we live in and how simple things can make the biggest difference to those less fortunate.
At the heart of it, KOP aims to improve the lives of vulnerable children who live in the Kenyan city of Kisumu, which lies on the edge of Lake Victoria. Diseases such as HIV and malaria have devastated families living there, often with young children losing one or even both parents to these conditions. Furthermore, malnutrition and poverty contribute heavily to child mortality and disease.
KOP helps in every way it can. Your money goes towards building and maintaining schools, feeding centres, rural health clinics, and even hospitals in the area.
Please, I implore you to donate whatever money you can to this charity. You will be amazed at the difference it will make!
Thank you so much,
James
