My son, Joel is a funny, clever, kind and caring 11 year old boy who also happens to have a diagnosis of an Autistic Spectrum Disorder. ASD has presented many challenges to Joel all of which he has faced head on and none of which have stopped him being amazing at life! 

Joel loves to run and has competed in many junior races- he particularly loves Colour Fun Runs! He wanted to run the Junior Great North Run so encouraged (guilt tripped) me into running the adult GNR. We talked long and hard about the charity we would like to raise money for and decided on the North East Autism society.
We've got some serious training ahead so please donate whatever you can to give us the kick we will need!
