We raise awareness of germ cell cancers to save the lives of young men and women

Story

Robin Cancer Trust (RCT) raise awareness for Germ Cell cancer and have supported a number of people within the military. Due to the average age group in the military Germ Cell cancer is one of the most common cancers a soldier will suffer from. If caught early enough Germ Cell cancer has a 95% success of being cured ensuring minimal impact on a soldiers career, so awareness and education is essential.

Germ cells are the cells in your body that make up your reproductive cells – your sperm or eggs – and are found in your testicles or ovaries.

Types of germ cell cancer

• Testicular cancer
• Ovarian cancer
• Extra-gonadal germ cell tumours
