In November 2016 I will be travelling to Tanzania to conquer Africa's biggest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro.  The summit is a ridiculous 5895 metres above sea level.  To put this into perspective the three biggest mountains in the UK (Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Scafell Pike) only reach 3407 metres combined!  I will have to battle hot and freezing temperatures, very thin air (which may result in altitude sickness) and no hair straighteners for a whole week!!  This will probably be the biggest challenge I will ever have to face.

Unfortunately there are others out there who have to face a much greater challenge than me.  Tenovus are able to support cancer patients with fantastic local facilities and are always on hand with advice and counselling.  They are an amazing charity but rely on donations to do and continue to do everything they can for cancer patients and their families.

I am hoping that by giving up my time and pushing myself to my physical limits for such a worthy cause that I might make a small (or hopefully a big) difference to someone's life who has been affected by cancer.  You can too by sparing a few moments to donate a small or generous amount to my page.
