In 2012 our grandaughter was diagnosed with Leighs,  a mitochondrial condition, at the age of just 19 months. Sadly we lost her in August this year, age 3.

This is why we are so keen to raise awareness of these conditions plus raise funds for research into their detection and treatments in the future
