Gerald was a special man who came into my life a long while ago when he met my mum. They had many interests together, had a lot of laughs and a great life together after marrying in January 2000. Gerald's sight deteriorated over the years and was eventually registered as partially sighted. He never let this effect his life but turned to Calibre Talking Books to rekindle his love of reading about his interests, trains, the war etc. He loved the audio books and I know they gave him a lot of pleasure when he couldn't see theTV to watch various programmes. This is a brilliant charity which isn't as well known as others but provides a lot of pleasure to people with sight problems. Xx
