Story
I am taking part in raising awareness for the Action of Pulmonary Fibrosis.
This charity is close to my heart as I recently lost my dad to this disease.
My aim is to make as many people aware of this disease as it's something i knew very little about. I wish with all my heart I had more knowledge of this before my dad passed away so i could of been a little more understanding to my dad’s suffering and maybe more supportive.
So now I will ensure that I raise as much money for this charity and make as many people aware of this illness as I can.
So far I have started a charity tuck shop within my work place, we have also had a charity cake sale to which I got lots of support from my colleagues, baking cakes and making a nice little profit all going into this charity fund....
Every £1 helps to raise awareness to a disease that is not heard of very often so please dig deep and donate.
Myself and 10 of my friends are climbing Mount Snowdon on Saturday 26th October 2013. As we have never done anything like this before, we are going to challenge ourselves and give it everything weve got.
Due to the fantastic response and the generous donations we have recieved, I have now upped my target to £1000. I would like to say a massive thanks to Matty for getting me to my original £500 target
