Jane was an extraordinary person – clever, good looking, funny, stylish, a fantastic organiser, a brilliant socialite, kind, generous and loving. She had a good job, lived in a lovely home and was loved by all – in most respects she had a life that people would envy. However, she battled with an addiction to alcohol. For a long time it was invisible and she was a “fully functioning” alcoholic, holding down a good job and managing a busy life and home. However, eventually, it started to affect all areas of her life – work, home, friends and marriage and the Jane everyone knew began to fade. She died on the 18 November 2013 and is missed terribly by family, friends and colleagues, who are devastated by her death and who fondly remember the wonderful person she had been.
