We provide free therapeutic services to help local families

Story

On 22nd March I was diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus; the type I have is quite rare for a young (ish) fit, healthy female. Fortunately, the cancer has not spread and it is curable. At present I am being treated with two cycles of chemotherapy, after this I will be re scanned and the next stage of the treatment will be decided - either surgery or chemo radiotherapy.

We are taking each day as it comes. Although we are learning loads and researching the next 'stage' we are trying not to think TOO much and are just dealing with the stage we are on. Whenever possible, we are enjoying life as a family, with family and  friends. Every other part of our life is so good - we are so lucky in so many ways and both have a new appreciation of life and what really matters.

With love,

Jane x
