Story
Last year I was persuaded by my husband to participate in the Great South Run for the first time. Despite it taking me just over 2 hours to complete, I was chuffed to bits that I had managed to do it. Having completed last year's run without any sponsorship, I decided that this year I would undertake the shorter 5k run to raise funds for Open Sight. I have worked as a rehabilitation officer for most of my career. Consequently I have seen first hand, how devastating losing one's sight can be. Getting the help and support at the right time and from the right people is so important and Open Sight is at the forefront for people living in Hampshire coping with sight loss. Thank you for donating to my page.
