This month I will be visiting my friends Keith, Lynne, Isla and Becca who live in one of the poorest regions of the world, Burkina Faso, West Africa.

Lynne is a dentist and regularly goes into remote villages to provide basic dental surgery to many in severe pain. After having had rotten teeth removed many are keen to understand why she cares enough to do this. Keith and Lynne are passionate about sharing God's love and care with all they meet.

Lynne also weekly goes into the local prison to provide dental care but also a nutrition program to men and women who are malnourished, lonely and often very depressed. They are finding it hard to feed all of them adequately. I would like to raise money to enable APT to feed more and bring hope.

Just last week Lynne quoted on facebook,

"I had to take 4 prisoners off of the list for receiving food/vitamins today...we have 7 new sick people and we can't keep adding people indefinatley...it was tough...the first was thankful and understood we couldn't keep feeding him forever, especially now he is well...the second pleaded with me for at least 10 minutes saying "My wife has left me, my parents are dead, no-one comes to visit me, if you don't give me food I will die." the other two looked like they would cry...one of the hardest things I have ever done...BUT we will keep an eye on them and they will still get food parcels once a month. Please pray for them."
