In a mad moment, I decided that I wanted to try to swim the 22 mile stretch of the English Channel. My attempt is scheduled for the end of July so I will be breaking out the goose fat and hoping for a calm sunny day! I am raising money for Dementia UK as it is an illness that is affecting someone very dear to me. I hope that you will give generously and keep your fingers crossed for me that the weather warms up between now and then.
