Story
We lost our inspirational mother on the 26th April 2013. Our mum fought everyday, people say she lost the fight against cancer but she didn't. She won, in every single way she won. Every single day she got out of bed and she slapped cancer in the face. She never ever felt sorry for herself, instead she grew stronger. She personified strength, bravery and courage. Our mum won.
She will be remembered as a beautiful, intelligent force to be reckoned with. Cancer did not define our mum, cancer took enough away from us as a family and it will not take away who she was, our memories, our happy times. Instead, we will honour our mother by growing stronger everyday, we will prosper and we will make her proud in every sense of the word.
The Johal Family requests that people donate to Breast Friends - Sutton Coldfield who provided invaluable support to our loving mother.
Feel free to also donate to the Cancer Support Centre in Sutton http://www.suttoncancersupport.org/home
Or Cancer Research UK http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/home/
We will live our lives as we would have lived life together, we promise Mum.
