Story
Ali was taken from us all on the 21 June 2013 by an illness that has affected us all in one way or another, that being cancer. Ali was just 40 years old and being similar age to myself I can only feel sorrow being taken at such a young age by this horrendous disease. Over the last couple of weeks I started thinking it would be good to keep his memory alive by trying to raise as much money for the chosen charity that Ali wanted to support. This being a local hospice "Roxburghe House" which helped Ali and his family in his final days. I'm doing an assault course event called the Tough Mudder on August 24th with a good bunch of men and woman from the Banks Of Dee Gym. "Team Quest" is our team name. The event is 13miles of hardcore obstacles. Take a look for yourself.

I feel this event is fitting of Ali's memory as he was involded in the Camel Trophy that ran from 1980 to 2000 it was all about tough obstacles and team work. Take a look at the wikipedia link below and the photos of Ali in action :)

Everyone dig deep and lets get this £1000.00 for the good people at Roxburghe House so they can help someone else like they did for Ali in times of need :)
